读这本书我没有特别多的感触，所以也不知道能写些什么，也许过几年之后重新再来看《月亮和六便士》、《刀锋》等毛姆的作品会有不一样的感觉，拭目以待。
《刀锋》的主人公是拉里，他作为飞行员参加了一战，在战争中他在部队的好友为了救他而牺牲，这件事给拉里的心理带来巨大冲击，引发他对人生和生命的思考。战后他没有选择跟其他人一样过上按部就班的生活，而是走上了心灵探索的旅程。
这样的故事为什么不触动现在的我，我想大概是因为我是个俗人，不像拉里那样对物质对金钱没有任何欲望，也不在乎别人怎么看他，不在乎社会的条条框框，只在乎自己的内心和精神的追求。
另一方面大概是因为我对自己现在的生活比较满意，ignorance is bliss，想得太多、想要的太多，就会不快乐。现在这样一个人吃饱全家不饿，有喜欢的工作，有时间做自己想做的事情，去探索一些别的可能，应该要感到满足。
鉴于此，这本书就只有一些书摘可以分享。
