一道菜的英文翻译表达 如何用英语介绍中国小吃

首先来说说糖葫芦。最常见的是用山楂做的,那应该叫做"sugar coated hawthorn"。现在各种各样的水果甚至山药都可以用来做糖葫芦,可以统称为“candied fruit”。这个英文的意思已经很明了的,不用过多解释。

一个必须要提到的小吃那就是皮蛋了!木哈哈哈!

没有准备的老外要是无意中打开的是一个皮蛋,估计会吓得扔出老远啊!皮蛋的英文名字很有意思,叫“Century egg”,百

年蛋。甚至还有叫millennium egg,thousand-year egg,千年蛋!因为皮蛋看起来像是“古董”啊!


可以这样用英文解释:

Stinky tofu is a form of fermented tofu that has a strong odor. It is usually sold at night markets or

roadside stands as a snack, or in lunch bars as a side dish, rather than in restaurants.

臭豆腐是一种具有强烈气味的发酵豆腐。它通常在夜市或路边摊作为零食出售,或在午餐酒吧作为配菜出售,而不是在餐馆作为正餐。

As it is normally eaten in Taiwan, stinky tofu is deep-fried. It should be golden and crisp, even crusty. It is served with spicy topping that nicely compliments the tofu and offsets any deep fry greasiness.

臭豆腐通常是炸成金黄色。有着脆皮。配上辛辣的配料,很好地补充了豆腐本身比较淡的口味并抵消了油腻感。

还有一些美食不算小吃,但属于对外国人来说很有中国特色的。

Beijing Roast Duck is praised as the “The Most Delicious Dish under the Heaven.” It has golden brown and

crispy skin, tender meat and strong flavor. All these features make it renowned at home and abroad.

北京烤鸭被誉为“天下最美味的菜”,它具有金棕色和酥脆的鸭皮,柔嫩有浓郁香味的鸭肉,使其在国内外享有盛名。

另一个小吃没有烤鸭那么名扬中外,也没有其它大菜那么排场,但也属于很有特点,能震住老外的小吃了:驴肉火烧!

Lurou Huoshao is a snack popular in North China. It originated in Baoding city, Hebei province. Stuff minced donkey meat into baked flour cake and thus Lurou Huoshao is made. The snack is flavorful but not greasy with lean donkey meat. It‘s both a popular snack and a regular local breakfast item.

“驴肉火烧”是流行于中国北方的一种小吃。起源于河北省保定市。把驴肉剁成小块加在烤馍之间,有点像中式汉堡啊!红

色的驴肉香而不腻,是小吃也是当地的早餐。

西方人吃肉多,也有意大利面中常见的肉丸子。不过个头可赶不上中国的狮子头啊!
