（1）不能和明确的时间搭配，比如：yesterday(morning、afternoon),last(morning、year)等，但可以与for, since连用。

例句：

（错误）I haven't seen her yesterday.
（正确）I haven't seen her for a long time. 我很久没见到她了。

（错误）I've been here last morning.
（正确）I've been here since the end of June. 自6月末以来我就一直呆在这儿。

（2）同表示不明确的过去时间状语连用，如already（肯定）, yet（否定，疑问）, just, before, recently, still, lately等。

例句：
I have already done my homework.
我已经写完作业了。

I have seen him before.
我以前曾经见到过他。

The pupils have not yet learned to punctuate correctly.
小学生尚未学会正确使用标点符号。

She hasn't been feeling well lately and she let the housework slide.
她近来一直感到不适, 对家务也就随它去了。

the soap's ratings have recently picked up.
这一肥皂剧的收视率近来提高了。

The doctor was here all morning, but you've just caught him out.
整个上午医生都在这里，现在你却正好碰到他不在。

另外注意just, already, recently等的用法，并不一定都是现在完成时。
例如：
1.She didn't realize her mistake yet.
她还没有认识到她的错误。（一般过去时）

2. The place was recently visited by a serious volcanic eruption.
这地方最近发生了一次严重的火山爆发。（一般过去时）

3. Six months passed and still we had no news of them.
六个月过去了，而我们还没有关于他们的消息。（一般过去时）

4.I just flipped through the book to see what it was like.
我只是浏览了一下这本书看看它怎么样。（一般过去时）
