To the Bee

Luo Yin

On the plainor atopthe hill,

Of beauty you enjoy your fill.

You gatherhoneyfrom flowers sweet.

For whom are you busy and fleet?

bee [biː] n. 蜜蜂，蜂；勤劳的人

plain [pleɪn] n. 平原

atop [əˈtɒp] prep. 在……的顶上

gather [ˈɡæðə(r)] vt. 收集

honey [ˈhʌni] n. 蜂蜜

flower [ˈflaʊə(r)] n. 花

sweet [swiːt] adj. 甜的

fleet [fliːt] adj.疾驰的;奔波的

1.gather ...... from ...... 从......中收集

eg. The bees gather honey from flowers sweet. 蜜蜂们从花朵上采集蜂蜜。

eg. The sanitation workers gathers the waste paper boxes from the dustbin. 环卫工人从垃圾桶里收集废弃纸箱子。

2.be busy for sb. 为谁忙碌

eg.Yi Yao‘s mother is busy for her every day. 易遥的妈妈每天都在为她忙碌。

eg.The village head has been busy for the villagers all his life. 村长一辈子都在为村民们忙碌。

3.who 与 whom的区别？

①句子中做主语成分时，用who。（所谓主语，就是动作的发出者）。

eg. Whois the mother of the baby? 谁是这个婴儿的母亲？

She is the mother of the baby. 她是这个婴儿的母亲。

这里是对主语成分提问，应该用who。

eg.Whoreally likes Zhen Huan? 谁真的喜欢甄嬛？

Prince fruitreally likes Zhen Huan? 果郡王真的喜欢甄嬛。

果郡王Prince fruit 是主语，who 做的主语成分。

② 句子中做宾语成分是，用whom。（所谓宾语，就是动作的接受者）

eg. whomshould I talk with? 我应该与谁说呢？

You should talk with me(whom).你应该与我说。

这里是对句子的宾语成分提问，用whom。

eg. I don‘t know, for whomyou are busy. 我不清楚，你是为了谁在辛苦。

I am busy for you （whom）.我是在为你辛苦。

宾语成分，用whom。

注意：前面有介词时，统统用whom。

能用主语I代替的地方，用who

能用宾语me代替的地方，用whom。

4.On 不同词性不同用法

①作为介词（用于表示介词前面的名词或代词与后面的成分的关系），

prep. 在……之上；向，朝；关于；在……时候；由……支撑......

The bottle is on the table.

介词on 前面的名词是“the bottle”，与后面“table”的关系是 “on”

杯子在桌子上。

②作为副词（表动作状态，用于修饰动词、形容词、其它副词或整个句子）

adv. 在上面；向前地；继续着，行动中；穿着......

eg.Please turn the light on, otherwise I cannot work. 请把灯打开，否则我无法工作。

turn light on，turn 打，是动词/动作；on 开着地，是状态；on 是 turn的状态的，turn可能是turn off 关灯，也可能是turn on 开灯，所以这里的on用作副词，修饰动作turn。

③作为形容词（表名词或代词状态，修饰名词或代词）

adj. 开着的；发生着的，正在进行中.....

The computer is still on. 电脑还开着呢。

on 开着的，作为形容词，修饰名词 computer电脑。
