As mentioned above, "wine" in English refers to "葡萄酒” . As Western wine is relatively new to China, many people think there are only two types of wine, "white" and "red" . Here are some popular varieties of wine you should leam so you can order properly the next time you're in a restaurant.  Some are a little hard to pronounce because they come from French 。
 正如上文提到的那样，英文中的“wine”指的是“葡萄酒”。相对来说，中国对洋酒还比较陌生，许多人只知道两种洋酒—白酒和红酒。下面列出的是一些比较受欢迎的洋酒，要记住他们的名字哦，这样下次下馆子就可以应对自如了。有些名字来自法语，所以不是太容易发音。
 
Merlot 墨尔乐（红葡萄酒）
 Bordeaux 波尔多葡萄酒
 champagne 香槟酒
 Shiraz 莎瑞司红酒（产于澳大利亚）
 Pinot Noir 皮诺瓦葡萄酒（英译）或黑比诺葡萄酒
 Cabemet 赤霞珠（红葡萄酒）
 Chardonnay 夏敦埃酒（白葡萄酒）
 Pinot Blanc 白品乐，又名白根地（原产法国）
 Sauvignon Blanc 白沙威浓（也称“长相思”白葡萄酒）
